An informative marketing case study on S-World Electronics of Canada

The Objectives

S-World Electronics is an e-commerce website specializing in electronics like smartphones, DSLR cameras and camera lenses across various markets of USA, Canada, Mexico and the European market.

The objectives that the client had set at the beginning of the project are:

  • E-commerce website development with SEO compatibility
  • Increase order volume year on year by 10%
  • Provide a more holistic eCommerce tagging and analytics solution
  • Maintain a steady CPA YoY
  • To achieve ranking in the SERPs
  • To drive more visitors to complete the sales inquiries
  • To generate more qualified leads from PPC and SEO activity.

The Solution

Ensuring that S-World Electronics is well represented across the electronics e-commerce landscape, here are the following steps followed by us:

  • We also created separate websites for the distinct demographics of visitors from Mexico, USA and Canada.
  • In order to review the brand performance, ArcWeb designed a series of structured brand ad copy tests to ensure that CTR was maximized to generate high average value brand orders and drive an increased return on investment.
  • Realizing that we were driving increasingly more qualified traffic to the S-World Electronics website, ArcWeb also set about reviewing the S-World analytics set up and promptly implemented enhanced eCommerce tracking and revised path to conversion funnel tracking, thus allowing the S-World order fulfillment team the opportunity to review and refine their checkout process to continue incrementally improving return on investment as well as repeat customers. Currently, the traffic on S-World is exactly 12,348 monthly.
  • With the clients’ requirements in mind, ArcWeb began managing S-World’s PPC activity in order to drive traffic to the website. Prior to the commencing ArcWeb conducted a thorough investigation of S-World’s existing campaign and refined the campaign structure, keyword portfolio, and ad copy. Currently, S-World has over 1,600 followers on Facebook.


We also created a Situation Analysis of S-World’s SEO and Social activity and consequently a roadmap covering the following instructions:

  • Full technical audit: to minimize duplicate content, sitemap optimization
  • Keyword research: to ensure S-World Electronics are targeting the key industry terms
  • Content audit: to follow-up to the keyword research and ensure S-World are targeting these terms correctly across the content
  • Social audit to investigate S-World’s social media and video channels in deeper detail and create a robust social strategy

The Results

Throughout the progression of the SEO roadmap and delivery of ArcWeb’s recommendations, S-World and ArcWeb are working together to put the learnings into practice.

To this end ArcWeb is providing S-World with SEO technical support with the following: 

  • Full meta content rewrite based on the keyword research document
  • Content update, focusing on thin and duplicate pages and improving the internal linking within the S-World site
  • On-going technical support to ensure the implementation of previous technical SEO recommendations
  • The rationale for this is to commence by tackling the main onsite optimizations to build upon the increased traffic and leads being generated from SEO.
  • PPC has continued to go from strength to strength with the volume of leads from this channel increasing significantly. In order to capture call leads, the implementation of Infinity Call Tracking has supported S-World’s internal process for recording leads.
